Local Conditions

The Ground in Pittsford

Flat Erie Canal corridor lake plain ground with well drained loam near the canal and heavier silty clay farther out gives generally firm equipment access. That affects how deep a root plate runs and how we rig a controlled drop without damaging what is underneath.

Weather Here

Moderate winters well back from the lake effect band, averaging roughly 85 to 90 inches of snow a year. Storm season is when most of our Pittsford removal calls come in, so we keep crews ready.

The Properties We Work On

Most of what we quote in Pittsford is Historic 1820s Erie Canal village core surrounded by upscale post 1960s suburban development. That shapes access, equipment, and how we price a job here.

When a tree has to go

Not every tree can be saved. When one threatens your home, power lines, or family, removal is the safe call. Our crew uses rigging, cranes, and bucket trucks to bring trees down in controlled sections, even in tight yards where there is no room for error.

Every removal includes limb and trunk hauling, raking, and a spotless final cleanup. Stump grinding can be added to any job.
